Flying is currently a very special endeavour. Behaviour that has been “trained” for years at airports and on board is now often wrong. The WingMag also provided information about the new protective measures in air traffic. However, it is of course futile, especially for international flights, that there has not been a bundled source of information with all country-specific regulations and restrictions up to now.
But this is now changing, as the International Air Transport Association IATA now offers a special world map. With a simple click on this link, you can immediately access the IATA world map. Here, you can now click on your next destination and see at a glance what needs to be considered. Is it even possible to enter the country from the country of departure, or how does the destination country handle the different quarantine regulations? You can find out all this with the help of the IATA world map. An absolutely useful tool at the current time, which saves a lot of time for research.
We at WingMag are convinced that the IATA world map is a right and important step towards “normalization” of air traffic. Even if no trip is planned at the moment, it is worth taking a look at the virtual map. Perhaps you can eventually plan your upcoming summer holidays.
